Summary A bench headed by Justice Javed Iqbal took up the missing persons case on Tuesday.
The government has only two options, either to recover the missing persons or take action on the basis of evidences, justice Iqbal said.He said that no intelligence agency was above the law.The bench said that it was the last chance for the attorney general of Pakistan to act on the court’s advices.In an earlier hearing, Additional Attorney General KK Agha had informed the Supreme Court that the government was considering giving a monthly allowance of Rs 60,000 to the families of the missing persons who had been missing for the last seven years.
