Summary Arbitration Court of World Bank started hearing of Kishanganga electricity power project.

Neelum-Jehlum power project has been visited completely.The lawyers of both countries recorded their statements pertaining to the power project.As per detail, the chief of Arbitration Court Stephen Myron Schwebel and his six companions visited the Neelum Power Project. On the occasion, lawyers arguing on the part of Pakistan James Krawford and Samuel Wordsworth informed negative effects of Kishanganga on Neelum Power Project while Indian commissioner Sindh Tas Aranga Nathen and his companions expressed their stances.After the visits of Azad Kashmir, the representatives of Arbitation Court and lawyers of both countries would make an assessment of the construction of Kishanganga in the area of Bandipura.If India succeeds in diverting the direction of Kishanganga, it would not only affect Neelum Power Project but vast area of Neelum valley would turn into barren land.
