LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday heard petitions related to shortage of petroleum products. During the hearing Attorney General also presented minutes of cabinet meeting.
Chief Justice Qasim Khan, while hearing the petitions, raised questions on the inclusion of non-elected people in the federal cabinet. CJ remarked that benefits do not reach masses because un-elected people are running the government.
CJ Qasim Khan further said that job of those who have taken votes from the public is to serve the masses but on the other hand, special assistants prioritize interests of the companies.
