Summary Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani will chair the federal cabinet meeting today in Islamabad.
It is likely that the cabinet will give approval for the 20th amendment during the meeting.According to sources, the 20th amendment is under consideration to stop the devolution of the ministries that could not be devolved to provinces in complaisance with the 18th Amendment.The parliamentary committee will also be protected under the 20th amendment for by-polls and reformation of the Election Commission.The amendment will be brought to parliament after the approval of the federal cabinet.
