Attorney General Anwarul Haq has said that a review petition against a Supreme Court order that the Ranges director general and the Sindh inspector general of police should be removed within three days could not be filed on technical grounds.Talking to the media, he said that the Supreme Court verdict was based on a suo motu notice which could not be challenged.Earlier, the Supreme Court had ordered that the Ranges director general and the Sindh inspector general of police should be removed within three days as they could influence upon the investigation process.According to Sindh Advocate General Fateh Malik, the appeal has been postponed on the advice of Pakistan People’s Party leader Babar Awan. Malik said that the appeal would be filed once the investigations process into the killing was completed while Attorney General Anwarul Haq said that the review petition could not be filed on technical grounds.He said that the Supreme Court orders would be implemented.
