Summary Rs 44 billion budget for 2011-12 will be presented in the Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly today.
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government is set to present Rs 44 billion budget for 2011-12 fiscal year.According to sources, Rs 36.5 billion has been earmarked for non-development expenditures while Rs 8.2 billion will be allocated for development expenditures.The federal government will cover Rs 5.6 billion loss of Azad Kashmir.Rs 14.3 million are being earmarked for industries and Rs 70.5 billion will be allocated for development and planning and Rs 20.5 million for social welfare.
