Summary As per as RS 18.81 billion have been allocated for police in the budget of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Different proposals have been presented for review on the package for police martyrs.According to budget documents, the martyr package for policemen of Grade-16 has been raised from Rs one million to RS 3 million while proposal for more raise in martyrs package of Grade-17 have been presented before the Assembly.It has also been announced to give net cash and plot for the relatives of the martyrs.Police would be provided with amount worth Rs 80 cror in order to purchase weapons.Apart from this, the contract of 6725 employees of Special Police Forces would be extended for one year more.
