Summary CIA chief Leon Panetta would be holding talks with the political and defence leadership.

Leon Panetta’s visit to Pakistan is of the utmost importance especially after the US operation in Abbottabad on May 2, in which Osama Bin Laden was assassinated. Tension had surface between Pakistan and the United States after the Abbottabad operation but relations to some extent have normalized. Leon Panetta’s visit to Pakistan shows that the working relation with the United States is moving forward.
