SHORKOT (Dunya News) – A 21-year-old girl sustained burn injuries when her close relative threw acid on her in Chan Pir Coloney area of Shorkot on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, accused Ijaz wanted to marry 21-year-old Saima and on her refusal threw acid on her, causing severe burn injuries to various parts of her body.
Rescue teams shifted the victim to Tehsi Headquarters Hospital in critical condition. On the other hand, Cantt police and arrested the accused and registered a case against him.
