Summary Three FC officials including Lt Col. Faisal recorded statements.
The investigation tribunal headed by Justice Muhammad Hashim Kakar has recorded the statements of those FC officials who were involved in firing. Lt Col. Faisal said that check post commander JCO Ramzan informed him about the incident and he reached the spot along with his guards on the direction of Col. Naveed. When he reached the spot, FC and police officials had taken positions and they started firing, he added.He said that he was informed two suicide bombers could attack. Faisal also admitted that he had also fired some bullets, but he neither ordered firing nor stopped anyone. The tribunal has already recorded statements of about 23 people including police, civil and bomb disposal squad officials.
