According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country as plain areas came under the strong heat wave.The PMD recorded 44 Celsius temperature in Lahore during the last 24 hours while 46 Celsius in Multan, 41 in Muzaffarabad and Islamabad, 46 in Nawabshah and 42 Celsius was recorded in Sukkur.The PMD predicted a further increase in temperature by two to three degree Celsius.
