Summary Jawad Rafique has replaced former Chief Secretary Punjab Major (R) Azam Suleman Khan.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The federal government has issued a notification appointing Jawad Rafiq Malik as Punjab’s new Chief Secretary.

According to sources, former Chief Secretary Punjab Major (R) Azam Suleman Khan has been transferred and directed to report to establishment division.

Azam Suleman had assumed charge as the province’s Chief Secretary in November of 2019. He belonged to 14th common of Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) and replaced Yusuf Naseem Khokhar on direction of the Federal Government.

Most of his service had been in the province of Punjab having served as DCO Dera Ghazi Khan, DCO Faisalabad, Director Anti-Corruption Lahore, Secretary Irrigation, Secretary Communication and Works and Additional Chief Secretary Home.
