Summary IG Sindh withdrew promotion orders of 1,200 police officials.
According to the sources the then IG police Salahuddin Khattak promoted 1,197 police officials on out of turn basis. Those who got promoted included from constables to inspectors. The Supreme Court had been moved against the promotions.On the directions of the Supreme Court IG Sindh police Fiaz Laghari has withdrawn the promotions.
