Summary Three PML-Q senators assured PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif of their support in the Senate.
A three-member delegation of the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid, consisting of Tariq Azeem, Naeem Hassan Chatha and Javed Ali met with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Nawaz Sharif and assured him that they would vote for Ishaq Dar as a leader of the opposition in the Senate.Raja Zafrul Haq, Hamza Shahbaz, Khwaja Asif, Ishaq Dar and Pervez Rashid were also present in the meeting. Talking to the media, Tariq Azeem said that his group would vote for Ishaq Dar as leader of the opposition in the Senate. He said that Nawaz Sharif welcomed their decision of sitting on the opposition benches in the Senate.
