Summary Chairing a meeting of economic managers PM Yousaf Raza Gilani said inflation must be checked.
The Prime Minister emphasized the need to enhance investment and create jobs. The finance minister gave briefing on the budget in the meeting. Balochistan governor Qadir Magsi also called on the PM. Gilani said development of the backward areas is government’s top priority. PM also asked Petroleum Minister Asim Hussain to take solid steps to enhance oil and gas production. Newly appointed ambassadors to various countries also called on the PM.
