Summary Muhammad Nawaz got commission in Pak Army in 1979 and shouldered the post of DG before five months.
He belonged to 61th Long Corse of Pakistan Military Academy. He got commission in 1979 as second lieutenant. After rendering services in Dera Ismael Khan till December 31, 2010, he was appointed as DG Rangers in 2011. He also served as OC Okara.He left two daughters and two sons, one of them was Asif Nawaz who was Captain in Army as well as his father’s ADC. Asif was accompanied by his father where this tragic incident took place.
