Summary The Lahore High Court has summoned Punjab govt for not implementing the healthcare care act.
Chief Justice Lahore High Court Ijaz Chaudhry initiated hearing of the case.The counsel for the complainant argued that precious lives could have been saved during the doctors’ strike if the Punjab government had implemented the healthcare act in the province.The appellant said that the law has been in place for many years but the government failed to implement it. The court accepted the plea for proceeding and summoned the Punjab government to submit its reply on June 17.
