Summary The Peshawar High Court has summoned the FC commandant and Hashtnagri SHO in missing persons case.
The Peshawar High Court (PHC) issued notices to the Frontier Constabulary commandant and the Hashtnagri station house officer in the case of missing persons on Tuesday.A two-member PHC bench, consists of Justice Ijaz Afzal and Justice Yahya Afridi, heard the petition of a woman, Muniza, about the disappearance of her brother from Hashtnagri area in April 2009 along with four other men.The plaintiff named the state a party in the case of her brothers’ disappearance.In another case, petitioner Faiz Muhammad maintained that his brother went missing since October 2009 from Matta area of Swat, saying the security forces had made him disappeared.The court issued a notice to the federation of Pakistan through deputy attorney general to clear its stance in the case.
