According to Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO), the country is facing an electricity shortfall of 1,710.In various areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, load shedding hours are varying from eight to 10 hours a day.Rural areas of Balochistan are suffering a power outage of up to 14 hours while power supply to the cities in the province is being suspended for six hours a day.The residents of Lahore are suffering four to six hours a day power outage while the areas adjacent to the city are facing a power outage up to eight hours a day. The electricity shortfall in southern Punjab has reached 525 megawatt and the people are bearing six to 10 hours a day load shedding in urban and rural areas.
