Summary FIA has expanded sphere of investigation against air companies, ticket agencies and travel agents.
British High Commission in Pakistan has complained about FIA immigration officials involvement in human smuggling.According to sources, raids were conducted by FIA to arrest some of suspected travel agents and officials of ticket agencies. Last week, FIA director general Malik Iqbal raided Islamabad airport and suspended six officials including shift in-charge immigration Ayaz Khan. A case was also registered against them but no one was yet arrested.
