Summary PML-N has submitted privilege motion against non-implementation of resolution passed by parliament.
The motion was submitted by 93 MNAs of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) who also submitted a requisition in the national assembly secretariat to call a session to discuss the issue.The PML-N MNAs said in the motion that a high level investigation commission had been announced to be formed within a week in the unanimously passed resolution of the parliament on May 14, in the view of the Abbottabad operation. They said that it was also announced in the same resolution that NATO supplies would be halted in case the drone strikes did not stop; however, neither the commission was formed nor the NATO supply was halted after the recent drone attacks.They said that non-implementation of the resolution had disrespected the privilege of both houses of the parliament and the matter should have been discussed in the national assembly.
