Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has said that the national pride has been ruined in the war on terror.Addressing a gathering on Saturday, Imran said that 34,000 Pakistanis have been killed during the war on terror, but United States still kept asking to “do more”. He said that the nation was paying a heavy price of the US dollars.He said the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was the last hope for the country. He alleged that the forces of “status quo” did not want an independent judiciary. Even the politicians, who were favouring the chief justice, doesn’t want an independent judiciary, he said.Imran said that his party would stand by the chief justice and the judiciary through thick and thin.
