Summary 14 to 18 hours loadshedding continues as usual in the country despite decrease in shortfall.
According to PEPCO, electricity shortfall has decreased and stands at 1733 megawatts. The electricity demand is 16,152 megawatts while its production is 14419 megawatts.People are still facing 18-hour loadshedding in several rural areas of Khyber-Pakhtukhawa while 6 to 14-hour loadshedding continues in Balochistan. Five to eight-hour loadshedding continues in Lahore and its adjacent areas.The loadshedding duration in Faisalabad and its rural areas has decreased from 12 to 8 hours. Four instead of six-hour loadshedding is taking place in the industrial areas.
