Summary The Lahore High Court issued contempt notice to secretary for not complying with the court order.
Applicant Waqar Ahmad’s counsel informed the court that the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) secretary Evacuee trust had issued an order to shut all “Darbars” at 8:00pm after the bomb blast at Data Darbar.The Lahore High Court, while granting a stay against the said order asked the board to provide security to the people instead of closing the shrines at 8:00pm.But the secretary did not obey the court’s order. Justice Ijazul Hassan also asked the secretary to submit his reply on May 30.
