Summary Hot weather persisted in south Punjab and central Balochistan.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in next 24 hours and light rain with thundering is expected in central Punjab. Maximum temperature of 43c was recorded in Bhawalpur, while 41 in Multan, 42c in DG khan and 38 was recorded in Lahore.
