Summary The terrorists possibly used the nullah in backyard of the PAF Faisal Base.
A one and half kilometre nullah leads to Malir Canal from Shah Faisal Colony and runway of Faisal and Mehran bases can be viewed from here along with the movement of the planes.The nullah is 100 feet wide and usually there are no extra ordinary security measures with eastern wall of PNS Mehran near this nullah. The terrorists used this nullah to enter into the base.The Rangers and police officials were deployed on this point during the operation to stop the escape of the attackers.
