Summary Both countries exchanged maps of Sir Creek as first round of Pak-India talks concluded.
The second round of the talks would be today after which a joint declaration would be issued. Surveyor General of India Subba Rao, would be leading the Indian delegation while Additional Secretary Ministry of Defence, Rear Admiral Shah Sohail Masood would be heading the Pakistani delegation.In the first round of talks that were held at the Ministry of Defence in Rawalpindi, new maps of Sir Creek were handed over to Indian delegation while a new survey and maps were also given to Pakistan.The last talks on Sir Creek dispute were held in 2007 and after the after Mumbai attacks all talks between Pakistan and India were suspended.
