Summary The Met office has predicted rain in northern parts of the country which would break the heat wave.
The Meteorological Department of Pakistan said that the countrys upper region came under the influence of western winds due to which strong winds and light rains are expected in Multan, Upper Punjab and the Hazara division.According to the Met Office, rain in the upper region would likely bring an end to the heat wave but the heat wave would remain in the central and southern parts of the country.
