Summary DPO Vehari said that three patrolling police officials involved in the gang-rape have been arrested.
VEHARI (Dunya News) – A girl was allegedly gang-raped by the patrolling police officials in Rata Tiba area of Vehari on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to details, Kiran along with her sister Iram came to Rata Tiba from Chishtian to meet her fiancé Muhammad Shoaib. They were having food at a hotel when some patrolling police officials came there and took the girls away.
The police officials allegedly gang-raped Kiran and forced her to board a Chishtian-bound bus. Instead, Kiran reached Police Station Ludan and lodged a report against police officials.
On the other hand, DPO Vehari Akhtar Farooq said that three patrolling police officials involved in the gang-rape have been arrested while raids are being conducted to arrest two main accused in the case identified as Muhammad Yaqub and Asim Ghaffar.
