Summary The resolution was passed in the absence of MQM and other coalition partners.
The Sindh Assembly passed a resolution against the LHC decision barring president from political activities. The assembly session was chaired by Deputy Speaker Shehla Raza. After law making, the MPAs of MQM, NPP, ANP, Muslim League-Q and Muslim League Functional left the house. After their departure, PPP presented a resolution against the LHC decision which was adopted.The assembly also passed Sindh Criminal Prosecution Service Bill 2011, Children Protection Bill and Financial Administration and Accountability Bill. After the session Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said to express opinion over court’s verdict was everybody’s right.
