Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry directed Balochistan Chief Secretary Khuda Bakhsh Lehri that law and order should be maintained in the province through law enforcement agencies.A two-member Supreme Court bench, headed by the CJP, heard the case of extra judicial killing in Balochistan on Monday. The chief secretary submitted a report on the people who were killed or injured during the last three years in the province.According to the report, the families of 260 dead and 511 injured have been compensated by the government. The report also revealed that 181 unidentified bodies were found during this time.The CJP remarked that increase in the incidents of killings was gruesome and directed the chief secretary to implement the law to restore peace in the province.
