Summary Nine were killed including five children in a traffic accident on the Chichawatni road in Burewala.
A car travelling from Lahore collided head on with a car on the Chichawatni road. Eight people burnt to death when both the cars caught fire after the accident while one died due to a head injury. Eight of the people killed belonged to one family who were travelling from Burewala to Pasrur. Pervez Akhtar, Yousaf Ashraf, Muhammad Ashraf, Fauzia Ashraf, Hanin Ashraf, Haider Usman, Hamid, Khalid and Shahid were among the killed while a 13-year-old girl luckily survived the accident.
