Bar, judiciary need to work jointly for dispensation of justice

Addressing the National Judicial Policymaking Committee (NJPMC), Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that the participation of prisoners in the judicial conference helped understand their problems. He stated that the meeting had provided an opportunity to all the stakeholders to share their problems and experiences to improve the performance. The CJP showed satisfaction over lower judiciary’s performance. The meeting also discussed various issues and problems which causes delay in completion of investigation and submission of challan. All the chief justices of the higher courts attended the meeting.
