Summary Punjab Governor Latif Khosa said that doctors should not go on strike to get their demands approved.
Addressing the inauguration ceremony of a two-day gynaecology conference in Lahore, the governor asked who would take the responsibility for the people who passed away during the doctor’s strike. He said that instead of going on strike, doctors should adopt another way to make their demands accepted.He said that the government would solve the problems of doctors and the doors of the Governor’s House would always open for them.He said that Pakistan had a higher death and birth rate that enhanced doctors’ responsibilities. The governor urged the doctors to perform duties in the rural areas as well.
