Summary US State Department spokesman Mark Toner said that terrorism is threatening Pakistans existence.

Condemning the Shabqadar bombing in Pakistan that killed at least 80 people, the State Department spokesperson said in a press briefing that Pakistani Taliban proved that they could resort to violence. He said that terrorism incurred the maximum loss to Pakistan.Talking about Abbottabad operation, the spokesman said that a breach had occurred between Pakistan and the US after the operation, adding that both the countries were required to cooperate to eliminate militancy. He refused to comment on the abandoned helicopter. Toner said that there are various rumours circulating in Pakistan regarding the people who knew about Osama bin Laden’s presence. He said that India is playing a constructive role in the region, and the US appreciated its efforts in Afghanistan.
