ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Foreign Minister Shah mehmood Qureshi said Pakistan is celebrating its Independence Day in solidarity with people of Kashmir. He said India’s Independence Day will be observed as Black Day. He questioned whether stability in Kashmir will come under curfew.

Addressing a public rally at Islamabad’s D chowk, he said Pakistan has asked UNSC to hold an emergency meeting over Kashmir issue. He said Kashmiris are facing scarcity of food and medicine.

He said if Modi wants to know public feelings he must lift the curfew in Occupied Kashmir.Qureshi urged the international human rights organizations to play their due role and pressure India to stop brutalities against innocent Kashmiri people.

SAPM Firdous Ashiq Awan on the occasion said, Kashmir movement cannot be suppressed by use of force. She said our elders sacrificed for freedom and we will step back from our stance on Kashmir issue.

Federal Minister Murad Saeed said India would be given befitting reply if she tried to wage a war. He said Modi has signed for the freedom of Kashmir.

Minister for Kashmir affairs Ali AMin Gandapur said Pakistan stands with innocent Kashmiris. He appealed international Muslim community to support Kashmir cause.

Chairman Kashmir committee Fakhar Imam said we will support Kashmiris till the last drop of our blood. He said India has made a mistake by abrogating special status of Kashmir.

PTI senior leader Asad Umer said Indian piolet Abhi Nandan was given award for a lose in dogfight, adding that there would be no tea if Modi made a mistake this time. He said Modi did not take PM Imran Khan’s peace message seriously. He said nation is proud of their forces.
