GHOTKI (Dunya News) - Polling for the by-election for National Assembly constituency NA-205-Ghotki-II from Sindh province will be held today (Tuesday), Dunya News reported.
The National Assembly seat from Ghotki fell vacant after the death of federal minister for narcotics control Ali Mohammad Mahar on May 21 due to cardiac arrest.
A strong contest is expected between Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) candidate Sardar Muhammad Bukhsh Khan Maher and independent Sardar Ali Muhammad Khan Maher.
The polling will start at 8am and will continue till 5pm without any break. According to Election Commission, preparations for by-election in NA-205 Ghotki have been completed.
According to Election Commission, 290 polling stations have been set up in the constituency for 360,875 registered voters who will exercise their right to vote during today’s polling.
