Summary Fauzia Wahab said that there will be no pay raise for government employees in budget.
The chairperson of the standing committee on revenue in the National Assembly, Fauzia Wahab has said that there is no chance of pay raise in the coming budget.She was talking to media after the standing committee meeting on Friday. She said that the salaries of the government servants could not be raised due to financial problems. She also informed that a target of Rs 1750 bn had been fixed for the next fiscal year and also hinted at bringing 0.75 million more people into tax pool.
