Summary A train, en route to Rawalpindi from Lahore, caught fire; however, the passengers remained safe.
Fire erupted in a train bogie near Gujranwala Cantt and the train was stopped immediately. The passengers informed the rescue teams which arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire.Sources said that the fire erupted in the rear bogie and that was why no casualties occurred.Railway officials disengaged the damaged bogie and dispatched the train to its destination.
