A team of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) scheduled to arrive in Pakistan this week, has cancelled its tour on account of security reasons after the death of Osama Bin Laden. According to sources, the visit of the IMF team to Pakistanis is very important in terms of the finalisation of the coming budget and the release of the sixth tranche. The sources added that the talks now were likely to be held in Dubai.Officials of the IMF, World Bank, ADB and USAID offices in Islamabad have also been asked to cancel their engagements with government officials.According to the World Bank, cancelation of tours will not affect the aid for flood victims and other development projects.
