Summary Altaf Hussain said that the government should call a round table conference immediately.

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader said that head of all political and religious parties should be invited to the meeting to be briefed on the circumstances in which Osma bin Laden was killed.In a statement issued from London, Altaf demanded that the services chiefs and the Inter Services Intelligence director general should also be invited to the meeting to explain the situation. He questioned the constant silence of the security apparatus of the country and ambiguous statements of the government about the operation. He said that Pakistan was being subjected to severe criticism across the globe on the issue of Osama bin Laden. Every patriotic Pakistani is concerned about the security of nuclear installations of the country, Altaf added. He said that the government and institutions responsible for the security should apologise to the nation for their delinquency, and that past mistakes should not be repeated.
