CIA Chief Leon Panetta has said that Osama could have known about the operation, had the US shared the information with Pakistan. The US will also investigate whether Pakistan knew about Osama’s presence. Panetta, in an interview with UK magazine, said it was decided not to let Pakistan know about the operation as it could have resulted failure. On the other hand Obama’s adviser said US government will probe whether Pakistan knew about Osama;s whereabouts or not. He said he didn’t want to level charges against anyone, though it would be investigated whether Pakistan have helped Osama during last ten years or not.It is still premature to say anything about it but America would like to know facts, he added.
