Summary Young doctors of Balochistan have threatened to extend their strike.

The Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani said that the increment in the salaries of the doctors would be according to the decisions which were taken by other provinces.Aslam Raisani while talking to the delegations of the Pakistan Medical Association and Balochistan Young Doctors’ Association said that doctors should have taken care of the patients rather than increasing their problems. He termed the doctors’ strike as unjustified and said that the matter of the increment in their salaries was being taken seriously.The CM assured protection for the doctors and said that those who were involved in the target killing of doctors would be dealt with iron hands.On the other hand, the young doctors did not consider the talks successful and threatened to extend their strike. They announced that the outdoor patient units and general operation theatres of all the government and private hospitals of the province would be kept closed from tomorrow and only the emergency services would be provided.
