GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Police have released one of the alleged facilitator in the Blast near Data Darbar Lahore. The alleged suspect named Zeeshan was taken into custody by CTD police but he claimed innocence in a video message.

Zeeshan said he is a local grocer in AimanAbad, Gujrawala. He was there at the shrine to pay his respect and had nothing to do with the incident.

However, police have sent his mobile phone and 2 Sims to forensic lab for further investigation.

Zeeshan had said that he earned his living by running a local grocery shop in his area and has no connection with anyone.
‘As soon as I heard an explosion, like the rest of the people ran out of the shrine, I am completely innocent and have nothing to do with the blast,’ he added.

Alleged Data Darbar blast facilitator claims innocence

As per details garnered, the suspect seen wearing the black shalwar kameez in the footage stated that he was wearing a dark blue suite which looked black in the footage.

Rejecting all claims of him being a facilitator he revealed that he and his 4 siblings are residents of Aimanabad, Gujranwala, his footage was misused and the claim of him being involved in the incident holds no truth.

He also stressed that he is available for any kind of investigation and will fully cooperate with the law enforcement agencies.
Earlier, after the incident the CCTV footage aired on Friday was considered a major breakthrough in the investigation of the bomb blast. Police published the pictures of 2 alleged facilitators of the blast.
