Summary A 17-member larger bench of the Supreme Court has been formed to hear the Bhutto reference case.

The bench led by the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry comprises Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan, Justice Nasirul Mulk, Justice Muhammad Sair Ali, Justice Mehmood Akhtar, Justice Shahid Siddiqui, Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja, Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, Justice Khilji Arif Hussain, Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani and Justice Ghulam Rabbani.Ten legal experts will assist the court in this case, while notices have been issued to the attorney general and advocate generals of all four provinces. The hearing of the case will start from May 2.
