Summary FIA raided on Blue area’s currency exchangers
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Government has tightened the noose against dollar hoarders and money launderers. FIA in a raid on Blue area’s currency exchangers recovered foreign currency and millions of rupees.
Director FIA Fakhar Sultan said that the money exchangers working without license were raided and foreign as well as local currency was recovered from their possession.
The confiscated currency include, 9660 Saudi Ryals, 1000 Euros, 2640 Pounds, 3100 Australian Dollars, 5030 American Dollars, 6335 UAE Dirhams, 100 Qatri Ryals, 401 Chinese Yuans and 2483700 Pakistani rupees.
