ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Police arrested two suspects who harassed a Canadian woman in Federal capital a few days ago.
The Canadian expat has also identified the arrested suspects Hamza Sohail and Anas Kamran.
Both suspects have been shifted to Police Station Sihala. Islamabad police have taken the car of suspects into their custody.
A few days earlier, Assma Galuta had filed a case against them after the two began harassing her and telling her to get into their car in the Bahria Town Phase 7 area.
Canadian woman harassed in Islamabad
She said that the two suspects also tried to block the driver and asked him for his passenger s drop-off location.
Assma then lodged a complaint at PM’s citizen portal which alerted the higher authorities. Assma has married to a Pakistani citizen and is living with him in Pakistan since 2018.
