Summary A three-member Supreme Court bench headed by the Chief Justice will hear the petition.
The hearing for a petition filed by Dunya News anchor Mubashir Luqman, in the Supreme Court challenging the incomplete election commission, will be held today. The petitioner states that after the 18th and the 19th amendment, the government according to the constitution, has failed to form an election commission. The court issued notices to all parties involved and sought written reply from the federal government.In the last hearing, no representative appeared on behalf of the federal government which is why the court deferred the hearing and issued notices to all the parties again.
