Summary The Met Office said that the westerly wave of rains is starting to fade away.
According to the Meteorological department of Pakistan the east and south of the country has started to clear hence the farmers can start harvesting wheat from Monday. In the next 24 hours, the Met office has predicted rains in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Islamabad, Kashmir and the plain and higher altitude areas of the country.In the past 24 hours, the highest rainfall was recorded at 78millimeters in Patan while Rawalkot had 77 millimetres, Murree 66 millimetres, Ghari Dupatta 65 millimetres, Muzaffarabad 48 millimetres, Abbottabad 45 millimetres, Islamabad 35 millimetres and Rawalpindi had 27 millimetres of rain.Due to the continuing rains a 2-4 degree centigrade temperatures drop was recorded on Sunday.
