Pakistan’s economic team will meet the World Bank President Robert Zoellick in Washington on Monday. The Finance Minister, Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, would lead the delegation of Pakistan’s top economic managers at the meetings that bring together world finance leaders and heads of international financial institutions. Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) chairman Salman Siddique and other officials of the Finance ministry are among the delegation.Earlier, Hafeez met with the finance ministers of German, Britain and America. He briefed them about Pakistans economic situation and also discussed ways to improve it.Hafeez also met with the China’s finance minister and told him that Pakistan’s petroleum sector would welcome Chinese investments.
